Characteristics and Applications of products
PVC insulated PVC sheathed power cables have the advantages of not only good electrical properties and chemical stability, but also simple construction and convenient to use. It applies to electrical power transmission and distribution lines with A.C rated voltage U¢/U up to and including 0.6/1.0 kilovolts. The main features of the flame retardant power cables is hard to get fire of that the continuous burning of cables is very limited when it is on fire. It applies to power-generated stations, subway tunnels, high-storey buildings, large-size factory and mines, oil field and coal mines with many cables laid tightly together. Fire-resistant cables can operate normally for some time when they are burning except that they can transmit electrical power under normal condition. They are used in the places such as nuclear power station, subway tunnels, high-storey buildings and other places concerning fire security.
Standards of products
The cables are manufactured in accordance with the standards of GB/T12706.1-2002. They can also be produced according to other standards required by clients. Besides the standards mentioned above, the flame retardant property of the flame retardant cables must meet the corresponding demands of class A, B or C which are stipulated in GB/T19666-2002. Among the three classes, class A is the best. Clients can select from the three as practical needs. Fire-resistance property of the fire-resistance cables can meet standard GB/T1921621-2003.
